I BELIEVE

One of the first things one might wonder when opening a website is what does this person, this organization believe. I have tried to put together some, (this is not exhaustive), of the things I believe.

I BELIEVE

I believe: in God the Father who is creator of all things. (Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 44:24)

I believe: in one God. (Deut. 6:4, I Tim 2:5)

I believe: that Jesus is God’s only begotten Son, (John 3:16)

I believe: that Jesus was born, he had a beginning. (Matthew 1:1)

I believe: that Jesus is a man. (I Tim. 2:5)

I believe: that Jesus died for my sins and for the sins of the world. (I Corinthians 15:3)

I believe: that Jesus was buried and rose the third day. (I Corinthians 15:20)

I believe: that Jesus ascended into heaven and sat down at God’s right hand. (Mark 16:19) (Psalms 110)

I believe: that Jesus will soon return to the earth. (Acts 1:11)

I believe: in the work of the Holy Spirit, the power and operational presence of God. (Romans 8:9)

I believe: that the Bible is God’s inspired word. (2 Peter 1:21)

I believe: that I am mortal. I’m going to die. (Hebrews 9:27)

I believe: that to die is not to be alive. (Isaiah 38:1)

I believe: I will sleep in death til Jesus returns to the earth.

I believe: in the resurrection of the dead and putting on immortality. It is my hope.

 		 I believe: salvation is by God’s grace through our faith. Ephesians 2:8

I believe: in REPENTANCE for the forgiveness of sin. (Acts 3:19)

I believe: in BAPTISM by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:4; Acts 2:38)

I believe: in Christian GROWTH in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus (2 Peter 1:41) evidenced by attributes detailed in (Matthew 5).

I believe: that the Kingdom of God will come when Jesus returns to the earth. (Matthew
6:10).

I believe: that this earth is the location for God’s eternal kingdom. (Revelation 11:15)

I believe: New Jerusalem will be on the earth made new in Jerusalem. (Revelation 21:2)

I believe: that Israel is to be restored and Jesus will rule on the throne of David. (Romans 11:26, Micah 5:2)

I believe: that Jesus will reign over the house of Jacob and that his kingdom will have no end. (Luke 1:33)

I believe: that the meek will inherit the earth. (Matthew 5:5)

I believe: that the wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23)

I believe: that the second death will be a result of the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:6)

I believe: that eternal life is the gift of God to be awarded at the appearing of Jesus. (Rom.
6:23, I Corinthians 15)

I believe: it is important to gather with others who fear the LORD and think on his name. (Malachi 3:16, Hebrews 10:25)

I believe: it is very important to believe the truth.
(2 Thessalonians 2:13)

I believe: that Christ is my life. (Colossians 3:4)

I believe: in prayer. (I Timothy 2:8)
